So recently, there's been a lot of new vehicles and all, right? Ever since the mediocre Space Epilogue Update, the Drive Ahead team has cranked out epic update after epic update. Sure, v1.14 fell a little flat, but the Sharkmobile makes it an okayish update. But that's not the point. The thing is, we've seen so many epic vehicles being added, (I mean seriously, the Halloween update still ranks in my list as their best one yet), that we're not really paying as much attention to the ones that don't look completely and seriously unique.
That's not a problem, really. There's no point in wasting time over the Sports Car and Roadster, (although the Sports Car is pretty good), but there's also many cars that are getting pulled under because they aren't surprising.
We don't see this as much, but has any of us been really excited about the Snowcat? It's either the best or second best vehicle to come out of v1.15, but no one's really paid it much attention. Now that this new update has come out, everyone's focused on the Firework Truck, which is epic, I know, in fact it's probably SUPER EPIC. However, we've sort of ignored a vehicle that looks puny and terrible in comparison to it. Which vehicle?
Why, none other than the Firework!
Remember that ridiculous vehicle with a guy riding a firework? It is ridiculous, but not for the reason you'd expect.
You see, every vehicle in Drive Ahead drives. But some have abilities. Some float, some shoot bullets, lasers, or snowballs, some are the Gunboat and do both. But there's one skill we haven't seen yet, and it's been widely requested, although it would obviously ruin the game.
Well, the Drive Ahead team did it anyways, and IT DOESN'T RUIN THE GAME.
So what does the Firework do that makes it so unique?
Well,

So this is really just a spoiler alert, since I'm letting y'all know that the Firework has limited flying abilities. And yes, this is balanced by the vehicle honestly being really bad, but insanely fun.
We've seen this before. Remember the second Space Update, oh so long ago, with our third Achievement Reward Vehicle? The SPACE BIKE, anyone?
It became instantly popular because it's insane speed was the closest any of us COULD GET TO FLYING.
And even though it's honestly not that good, we all still love playing with it.
Same with the Firework. You'll love it. Trust me. But for the future, make sure to pay attention to every vehicle. Not just the big bright ones.
