Drive Ahead Wiki

This blog is an in-progress project, bits and pieces will be added over time.

So, I decided I'd write a blog, since I haven't done one yet. This is one that will cover how to get coins conveniently. Hopefully this helps any readers here. :D

Note that this blog was created before the article Coins was created.

The Shop[]

If you go to the casino and select the Shop (the coin button in the bottom right), you'll find yourself looking at a number of options to get more coins...

  • You can watch advertisements for extra coins. You'll get 30 Coins for watching one ad.
  • If you like Drive Ahead on Facebook, you'll earn 200 Coins.
  • You can spend your real life cash on in-game coins if you wish (not that I have ever needed to do it). It's easy to get coins if you play regularly, so you shouldn't really need to use this method, but ultimately this choice is yours.

Playing in Classic Mode[]

The simplest way to earn coins is to play the game. The rewards in classic mode differs on your performance. As of Version 1.20, the rewards are as follows:

Reward Your points Opponent's points
10 Coins 5 Stars 0 Stars
9 Coins 5 Stars 1 Star
8 Coins 5 Stars 2 Stars
7 Coins 5 Stars 3 Stars
6 Coins 5 Stars 4 Stars
5 Coins 4 Stars 5 Stars
4 Coins 3 Stars 5 Stars
3 Coins 2 Stars 5 Stars
2 Coins 1 Star 5 Stars
1 Coin 0 Stars 5 Stars

Winning without dying gets 10 coins in the least amount of time, so aiming for that is always good if you want to get coins fast.

Missions[]

Missions are probably your greatest source of coins in the game. Completing these tasks can win you a lot of coins.

There are a variety of missions, and each seems to be sorted into a different category: The Originals, Halloween, Motodrome, Aliens and Christmas. Each of these categories have specific missions in them.

Some missions have higher payouts of coins than others. "Alien Overlord" for example pays out 200 coins. But these kinds of missions are usually much harder and take longer to complete even for skilled players. Sometimes it may be better to complete missions with an average payout that is relatively easy and short rather than go for the high rewards, especially if you are short on time. Either way, doing missions is critical to obtaining large amounts of coins.

Free Gift[]

FreeGift

Free Gifts are random occurances where upon logging on you recieve a large amonut of coins. They seem to happen more often if you are constantly playing. From what I have see in my own game, Free Gifts can reward you between 100 and 500 coins, with higher quantitiee of coins rewarded the more you play.
